IMERSA (Immersive Education, Research, Science & Arts) is an international non-profit professional organization that celebrates and promotes immersive and fulldome media for education and entertainment in planetariums, schools, museums, cinemas, events and attractions. The 501c3 association was officially inaugurated in July 2008. Its goal is to help promote the adoption of immersive media, particularly fulldome media, not only in the planetarium community where it had its genesis but also to reach out to other special venue markets.

A More Social IMERSA

You are invited to take part in the immersive media community via this website. This website features for the new IMERSA website including social networking, a wiki, member blogs, sponsor showcases, membership categories for all needs (including free), an events calendar, reading and reference material, video and image uploading, and special member/sponsor support areas. IMERSA's new site is rolling these collaboration features for the community to stay connected, share knowledge and build on new ideas or projects.

You are strongly encouraged to read and comment in the forums, set up and collaborate within groups on IMERSA.org and load files into the repository to be shred with members only. We know that this will enrich our efforts as a whole, to move us ahead for immerrsive media entertainment, research, science & arts.
