Mark Webb

Mark Webb is the Director of Theaters at the Adler Planetarium in Chicago. He began working in the planetarium field in 1980 and has worked at the Adler since 1995. Mark was instrumental in the creation of the first real-time interactive planetarium, The StarRider Theater, in 1999, and has been through multiple fulldome theater inceptions, renovations, and upgrades since then. He has participated in different roles on more than a dozen real-time and rendered fulldome shows including One World, One Sky, Destination Solar System, and the upcoming Planet Nine. Mark is a vocal advocate for live presentation in the planetarium and expanding the fulldome environment to include new types of audience experiences.
